हरिद्वार। कांग्रेस जल्द चलाने जा रही है ” मैं हूं पप्पू” अभियान यह कहना है कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता और उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत का। दरअसल हरीश रावत आज अपने बेटे वीरेंद्र रावत के चुनावी कार्यालय उद्घाटन के मौके पर पहुंचे थे जहां उन्होंने पत्रकारों से वार्ता करते हुए कहा कि गप्पू समाज के लिए खतरनाक होता है जबकि एक पप्पू जो अपनी मां का प्यार होता है उसको सब प्यार करना चाहते हैं और उसके साथ सब की शुभकामनाएं होती है।

शनिवार को हरिद्वार में कांग्रेस के लोकसभा प्रत्याशी वीरेंद्र रावत के मुख्य चुनाव कार्यालय का उद्घाटन हुआ। भगवान के साथ सैकड़ो कार्यकर्ताओं सहित उनके पिता और उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत में मौजूद रहे। इसमें कोई पार्क हरीश रावत ने पत्रकारों से वार्ता करते हुए कहा कि आज केंद्र सरकार विपक्ष को समाप्त करना चाहती है जिसके लिए वह विपक्ष के नेताओं पर ईडी सीबीआई और इनकम टैक्स जैसे घोड़े को दौड़ा रही है आज देश की जनता बदलाव चाहती है क्योंकि वह जानती है कि आज देश का लोकतंत्र खतरे में है और इसको बचाने के लिए उसे बदलाव की आवश्यकता है। गप्पू-पप्पू, पर बोलते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि गप्पू देश के लिए बहुत ही खतरनाक है जबकि पप्पू जहां एक और अपनी मां बाप का दुलारा होता है तो वही वह हर किसी को खुश करने का कार्य करता है जिस कारण सभी की शुभकामनाएं उसके साथ होती हैं उन्होंने कहा कि गप्पू भाजपा को मुबारक हो । उन्होंने कहा कि अगर आवश्यकता पड़ी तो कांग्रेस जल्दी ही “मैं भी पप्पू ” अभियान की शुरुआत करेगी। साथ ही उन्होंने पूरा भरोसा दिलाया कि हरिद्वार सहित उत्तराखंड की पांचो सिम कांग्रेस जीतने जा रही है खास तौर पर हरिद्वार की सीट पर पिछले 5 दिनों से जिस तरह से जनता का प्यार उन्हें मिला है उसे लगता है कि कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ताओं के मजबूत इरादों और कार्य की बदौलत उन्हें सफलता हासिल होगी।
